At Linguamax, we strive to provide high-quality language training and a satisfying learning experience. To ensure clarity and fairness, please review our cancellations and refunds policy outlined below:
Cancellations by students
- Students may cancel their enrollment or course bookings at any time by notifying us via email.
- If the cancellation occurs more than 7 calendar days before the course start date, a full refund of any prepaid fees will be issued, minus any applicable administrative charges.
- For cancellations made between 7 and 3 calendar days before the course start date, a 50% refund of prepaid fees will be provided.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 3 calendar days before the course start date or after the course has commenced.
- For packages or courses that include multiple sessions, refunds will be prorated based on unused sessions if the cancellation falls within the timing above.
Group bookings
- Group bookings (defined as 3 or more participants enrolling together) must be canceled at least 14 calendar days before the course start date to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 7 calendar days before the start date will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued for group cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before the course start date.
- Rescheduling of group courses is permitted once without charge, provided the request is submitted at least 14 days in advance and subject to availability.
Refunds
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days after receiving the cancellation request.
- If the course was discounted or part of a promotion, the refund will reflect the discounted amount.
- Refunds are not issued for missed sessions or technical issues on the student’s side.
Cancellations by Linguamax
- In rare cases where Linguamax must cancel a course before it begins (e.g., insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), students will receive a full refund of any prepaid fees.
- If a course session is postponed or rescheduled, students will be offered the option to attend the new dates or receive a full refund.
Transfers and rescheduling
- Requests to transfer course dates or reschedule sessions must be made at least 7 calendar days before the course start date.
- Transfers are subject to availability and administrative approval.
- No fees will be charged for one-time rescheduling requests submitted on time; subsequent changes may incur a small administrative fee.
Technical issues and force majeure
- Linguamax is not liable for technical disruptions caused by the student’s internet connection or equipment.
- In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.) impacting course delivery, Linguamax will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative learning options or refunds as appropriate.
